I believe my diet is overall quite good and I just would like to double-check I am on the right track. Can I book single appointments?
Yes, you can. These are charged at 150 euros and last 90 minutes.
What is the job of a nutritional therapist?
It is to help cut through all the conflicting advice about healthy eating and find out what is the right approach for you. A personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan is devised in order for you to take control of your own health.
What is well-being coaching?
It is an innovative approach which ensures you are able to access your inner resources, take responsibility and make those shifts proactively and willingly. It bridges the gap between where you are in life and where you want to be. It helps recognise patterns, values and limiting beliefs that may be impacting on your daily life and perhaps holding you back. As a Wellbeing Coach, my job is to empower you.
What is involved in consultations/sessions?
In initial nutritional therapy consultations, we analyse your nutrition & lifestyle questionnaire and a personalised bespoke plan will follow including nutrition, lifestyle recommendations, test results and possible supplements. Follow-up nutrition sessions focus on a specific area, compliance to the plan, and progress assessment.
In well-being coaching, we focus on a particular topic depending on your mid-term and long-term goals. We work with the Eight Elements Wheel to help you achieve an equilibrium in your life. Each of the eight key areas plays a vital role in your health and wellbeing and often by addressing one area you experience a positive impact on the others.
During this process we may explore your values, resistance, limiting beliefs and life/work purpose. Progress review calls are to support you in between nutrition and well-being coaching with any particular issues that may have arisen and for which you need guidance.
How long will it take to start feeling better?
The nature of Functional Medicine and Nutritional Therapy is to look for the underlying root cause of health issues. The nature of well-being coaching is to empower you to make positive, lasting changes that will enable you to lead happier & fulfilled lives. Each case is individual and the complexity of the case and the length of time a client has been suffering, will greatly affect the length of time it takes to get well.
Unfortunately, there is no magic pill but with my expertise and your application to your programme, rapid improvement is possible. However, most clients find improvements are cumulative and will manifest as each month goes by. If a health issue is complex this can take anywhere between 3-9 months.
Will I have to take supplement?
Not necessarily. If you do, we only use the very highest quality supplements with minimal excipients (additives). On occasion, clients have had reactions to products. This is out of our control and clients are advised to contact us immediately if this occurs so we can work out which product is causing a reaction.
Can I purchase a programme as a gift for a friend of a member of my family?
Absolutely. It would however be advised to approach your friend or family member first to make sure this is something they would like to engage with and would like to commit to.
I would like to create my own nutrition & lifestyle programme. Is this possible at all?
Absolutely. Get in touch and we can create together a programme that works best to suit your personal requirements and preferences.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes. Appointments cancelled or changed with 24 hours’ notice will not be charged or forfeited from a block booking (in purchased programmes). Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full and forfeited from the block booking.
