Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, ME & Fibromyalgia

Receiving a diagnosis of CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) M.E (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) or Fibromyalgia can feel like a life sentence. You may be feeling lost, alone and anxious for answers as you struggle to cope with countless symptoms.

Are these familiar?

Extreme fatigue

Muscle/ Joint pain

Foggy Brain

Memory problems

Headaches

Anxiety

Dizziness

Digestive issues

And more...

Struggling to cope with a combination of symptoms can leave you feeling completely broken.

The difficulty comes when you go to countless appointments leaving you with even less understanding of what is causing these symptoms and without a clear plan of what to do next.

Do you feel let down or abandoned by the medical profession?

Have you tried a multitide of remedies or therapies but nothing has really helped?

Are you terrified that you are going to feel this way for a very long time, possibly forever?

There are many potential factors in the development of ME / CFS. They differ from person to person

ME, CFS or Fibromyalgia is often diagnosed when other conditions have been ruled out and while having a diagnosis can sound reassuring it can leave you no closer to a solution. Often, these conditions get worse the longer they are left alone, so anyone suffering from the effects of fatigue, or the whole host of other symptoms that usually co-exist with fatigue, needs to take action. Sooner rather than later

It is only when we lose our capacity to generate energy in a usable form that we understand how vital it is to the simplest of tasks most of us take for granted in our daily lives. Listening to music, cooking a meal, writing our journals, talking to our friends: they all require energy. Not just physical but mental energy is vastly diminished in CFS/ME. In simple terms, we may be spending more energy than we get to maintain the physiology and biochemistry necessary for survival.

I work with clients who have diagnosed or undiagnosed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, M.E. and Fibromyagia. I help them to recover with a multi-factorial approach tailored to them.

My approach

With complex, unique to everyone, multi-faceted conditions such as these my approach is multi-factorial. I look into nutritional deficiencies, sleep quality, stress management, negative behaviors/thought patterns, toxic overwhelm, environmental stressors, physical and mental pacing, life purpose and emotional well-being.

I combine a gentle, supportive approach with analytical and scientific focus points.

Individually-tailored support

There are different phases within CFS/ME which present with different symptom severities, hence the order of support is also critical. Additionally, many programmes may attempt to pressure you into making changes that you may not be ready for. Such an approach not only creates unnecessary stress but has also been shown to be ineffective in motivating change.

I combine nutritional therapy, naturopathy and well-being coaching in order to offer a supportive system which can help you overcome challenges that realistically work for you by being in alignment with your individual circumstances, goals, life purpose and personality. I help you gradually see the wood from the tree.

Why work with me?

I suffered from undiagnosed CFS for nearly 8 years. The daily fatigue, brain fog, anxiety and countless other symptoms impacted my career, my social and personal life as well as my self-esteem and confidence. Being misunderstood by those around me and by the medical profession made me feel helpless, isolated and almost broken.

It wasn’t a mysterious protocol that helped me recover. It was by careful identification, awareness and understanding of the areas in my life I needed to address. Being fully supported throughout the stages of my recovery made all the difference.

Working with someone who understands the illness and how to recover from it makes all the difference. It makes one´s recovery hopeful and possible.

You do not need to suffer from these conditions and the uncertainty and feelings of hopelessness that comes with them.

If you agree to these statements, I would love to hear from you.
